In Email a friend Apply to this job Location: Concord , NH United States Job ID: 139446 Description: We are actively seeking a Civil Project Manager to join our growing team! This individual will represent the company in communications with clients from initial effort, throughout the entire course of agreement activity, and in post-agreement activities on a regular basis; communicates with the appropriate Resource Center Manager and Account Manager or other designee relative to project status and performance; and manages the project team. Resource Options has partnered with a multi-disciplinary engineering & consulting firm that provides civil/geotechnical engineering, environmental investigation and remediation services. Position Responsibilities Participate in initial client marketing meetings and presentations. This individual will also participate in the development and formation of proposals for clients. Must be familiar with the client's organization, key people, and sensitivities and works to develop a strong client relationship. Maintains an understanding of project financial issues including budget, terms of agreement, changes in agreement scope, billing process, schedules and records all meetings and ensures follow up on decisions. Monitor performance of client responsibilities and communicates deviations to the client in a timely manner. Implements applicable firm policies bearing on client relations. Issue start and stop orders to team members as related to project progress and client directives and initiate or modify project reporting procedures or information as required and discusses deviations from the firm's policies. Establishes goals for projects consistent with contract agreements. Knows fee arrangements, management systems, and project schedule requirements. Determine team staffing requirements and delegate authority and responsibility to team members. Ensure project files and reporting are maintained properly Monitor progress and act when team performance deviates from established plan. Monitor team performance to ensure compliance with contractual arrangements, product quality, and design and technology to ensure consistency with contractual arrangements, while implementing the firm's policies that have an impact on team activities. Make final decisions in matters of team technical performance relative to procedures and end product as consistent with contract requirements and company procedures and policies. Position Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, a PE license in MA. A minimum 8-years of project engineer experience, and looking to launch into project management for land development and permitting projects utilizing applicable MA standards in the preparation of design plans for commercial, federal, and municipal projects. Emphasis on evaluation and resolution of federal, state, and local regulatory compliance through site auditing, design and implementation of innovative BMPs and source control applications; NPDES permit assistance, planning and preparation of SWPPPs. Additionally, this position will provide oversight and training of other technical staff to coordinate design, sampling, and BMP operations and maintenance functions. Expertise would include the development and execution of modeling for the hydrology and hydraulics of stormwater runoff using Hydro. CAD, or similar software, in support of land development projects. Knowledge and experience developing surface water and stormwater solutions that involve environmental contaminants is a plus.
